| I just purchased a ProMariner charger (2 bank) about 6 weeks ago, and it stopped working on me. No lights at all when plugged in. It's under warranty, but I couldn't find the manual last night. Does anyone know if there is an overheating fuse that is accessible? I couldn't see anything on the charger that looked like that. The in-line fuses were good on the outputs. Any other thoughts? Funny how the old one that is up in the bow taking the beating works fine, and the new one in the back getting the cush ride wets the bed. |

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin | Some chargers are very sensitive (kinda like some brothers). If you get another one of the same kind, make sure you mount it in a fashion that allows for plenty of air flow around it. I mounted two 1/2" x 1" x 6" pieces of treated wood in the boat first, then mounted the charger to wood. If you have the charger in a compartment, leave the door open when you're charging.

| I don't think it was an overheating problem, and I am just using it on my cranking batteries, so it really wasn't working hard/long at all, just keeping them topped off. It was mounted on it's side, which I believe is the way they preferred in the manual. |

| I have replaced my 2 bank once, and the single 6 amp twice in 3 years. Next boat will have Guest chargers again. |
