Member Posts: 3899 | Yes, Good luck to all you WF'ers this year. I'll miss it this year, as I am going to be chuckin' topwaters on Lake Holcombe all weekend. I also predict there will be a record winning weight this year! Lot's of hungry eyes out there right now, and the guys that can put together a couple programs over both days will cash in with big weights. By a couple programs, I mean as mentioned. Early rigging/jigging bite, and then a trolling bite for when the sun comes up. No cold front, and no big rains on Friday to wreck the bite. Just as an FYI, my best trolling baits the past 2 weeks? Walleye brown Wally-Diver, Chrome Perch Wally Diver, and the Firetiger X-Rap Shad deep diver. Shhh, don't tell anybody else, though. Good luck, again.

Member Posts: 1406 | Rich will you turn the switch back on.....PLEASE.....today was the worse day I have ever had in the month of June on bago....I can't ever remember spending 8 hours out there with so few fish in the boat...Is it the north wind? the lack of fly hatch? The baro? The cool water? My stupid addiction to trolling? or just the idiot behind the wheel? Probably the latter. All week we were able to put plenty of fish in the boat in all my favorite places. I hope the calm winds tomorrow change things up! Good Luck Tyee

Good Luck Tyee Every day I spend trolling is my worst day but you gotta do what you gotta do The switch just flipped and I got a few good reports already this morning. I am going to drop my guess though to 40lbs to win this. Sunday will be the day for big weights as I predict 2 over 25lbs Sunday. Good luck everyone and stay safe. It looks like we are finally going to have some good weather in this tournament. Edited by Rich S 6/12/2009 8:46 AM

Was out again this morning on the mud and in 6 hours boated 25 fish......5 biggest..probably weighed about 18lbs for you tournament guys. For those interested pulled most fish on brown wally divers, thundersticks and caught a few on natural colored taildancers. Kept our 10 males for some beers and fishfry tonight!!! Back on the water tomorrow! Find the fish and its easy pickens!

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | I am getting similar reports. I have not been out all week so hopefully our area is not too crowded. Edited by Rich S 6/12/2009 1:47 PM

Member Posts: 1406 | Rich, Thanks for flipping the switch there are nice nice fish to be caught. I bet it will take over 40, maybe 43 if today is any indication to win but there will be a lot of people with very few! Good Luck Tyee
