15th Place in your/our age group is darn good since we were running with 16,000 of our closest friends.

The only reason I saw it was because I wanted to see what it would take to run close to the top of the age group. Cutting another 1:16/mile is not going to happen even though I get to move to the next age group next year. The best time in that group was also 32 something.

Come back next year?

32 hours? Nice job Wade!

Your in town, and don't call? I talked with Geiger yesterday, and he told me you were around? I thought maybe I'd get my rod back? Oh well, I know where you live!

Finally some internet access...thanks Bob for noticing....I loosely followed an 8 week program to run a faster 10K and it worked pretty well, I hadn't run in one for a few years. Back next year? Hopefully!

Well if you do come back next year and you have any more of those Bass Pro Walleye Angler trolling rods you want to get rid of - you won't have to ship them.

Did that 8 week program have a lot of speed work in it? More quality miles versus quantity miles?

When we trained for Cross country, we never ran distance, It was all 800 yards and less. must have worked as we were State Champs in 71 and runnerup in 72.

We don't think you're allowed to brag anymore about being State Champs in 1871....there comes a time when you must win again to prove your worth.

Sincerely,

The Cubs

Oh Louie - nothing like friends!

I may have been, but I still have less gray hairs!
