socks in the boat to keep that carpet clean...nice! i've gone pretty shallow while running the trolling motor with the 1760 and 1890 hulls too, 1 1/2 foot range. it surprised me how skinny i could get with a deep-v hull like they have, and the X190 is even more so. of course, the Esox Mag floats in a puddle...it's crazy how shallow we got one day up a trout stream with that boat.

Member Posts: 650 | can't explain the socks deal at all... maybe its the beer in the drink holder behind the sonar... I'll get another pic of what we had to go under to get back there....

Member Posts: 3899 | I used to drink Genuine Draft. Now, I just go with Lite Beer from Miller. Too many carbs in Draft Beer. Either way, I rarely drink in the boat. Usually, only for the fireworks. Edited by Shep 6/5/2009 2:41 PM

Member Posts: 650 | been waiting for that... only show in town... We like fishing that shallow stuff early in year... bass ,pike, picks, bowfin, whatever is in there... Tuffy is a multi species vehicle anyway... With limited fishing time, If it swims i'm gonna try and catch it... below is a pic of my lone walleye of the year... Actually went to Oneida sunday in the hopes of getting a few but the smallmouth kept getting in the way... As far as Draft on a Tuffy... any beer poured into a cup could be considered a draft... If the TGT is in NY... I'll make sure of alot of draft on Tuffy's... I'm buyin'... Attachments ---------------- walldo1.jpg (187KB - 149 downloads)

i tested out the shallow water rock bouncing capabilities of the X-190 this week. with the kicker motor engaged and moving at 3mph, this boat will not float in water that is 6" deep over pointy rocks. chunck. clunkcty. chirickesh. (sigh) apparently i forgot to request the "bullet proof vest" edition gel coat. factory, here i come.

Member Posts: 102 | Heck, a boat without a scratch is like a truck without a ding. The longer you wait to get the first one the bigger it is when you finally get it! So did the kicker find some immovable objects too? That would be worse than the scratches.
