It was still in a Lul for us on the lower river. Lost a couple at the boat and that was about it other than the occasional sturgeon.

The bites been pretty good. The low water probable ruined the hatsh this year as many made it in on time to do their job, but as late as yesterday we were kicking fat females away from the rocks on the shore line, didn't see any today and got a number of fish in shallow water that is heating up!
Good Luck

Stacker when drifting the wolf there are many rocky shore lines where current is fast and water is shallow, some of them have nice shelves and when "slipping" the current on those drop offs, in the main river proper, sometimes you can get to close and the fish scatter. With the low water there were still big girls trying to unload as late as this week. There's no way these late spawners will make it back to your neck of the woods for your big extravaganza but there are plenty around your area already.
Good Luck

Thanks Tyee, just trying to clarify your walleye street slang. Thanks for the fishing tips.

Glad to hear it guest. Been tellin' people for a long time but they all go to the lake more consistent action. I know the guys who stay at the campgrounds in fremont do well. Good catch.
