Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | Komo, I have to assume you have already tried this. IMO this is the best chicken I have ever eaten but I do think if that stuff you gave me and the kid this year was hot it would have equalled or surpassed the Culvers Chicken. I have only eaten this once so I am not sure if every plate will be as good but this chicken did something right while it was alove for sure. When I ordered this chicken it was raining out and just as I took the first bite the clouds opened and the sun shown down on me for just a second but I knew this chicken was from the heavens. Every ailment my tired old body was feeling suddenly dissapeared and it felt like I was ten years younger. Skin was tighter, muscles lost their soreness, gray hair suddenly was gone, hemorroids dissapeared and I felt like I could throw my last prescription of Viagra out the window. Like I said earlier, it was some good chicken. Anyway, let me know if you tried it and what you thought of it.

Member Posts: 625 Location: LaCrosse, WI | Rich, I've tried the Culvers chicken, and it is very good. The problem is that they don't always have it. I've asked for it a couple times, and they make it in batches, so if nobody's ordered chicken before you, you have to wait like 20 minutes. I can wait 20 minutes at a sit down restaraunt, but I have a hard time waiting that long at a fast food joint. When they have it, I always consider it. You can get a two piece basket, so you don't end up with several sides as well.

Reading your posts is kind of like a car wreck... You just KNOW you shouldn't look, but for some reason, you just can't help yourself. Then you remember why you tried so hard not to look in the first place. In any event, I'm glad to hear you've found spiritual enlightenment. I would have thought it would come to you in a bit more of a complex package, but hey, as long as you don't start telling us stories about eating the chicken while naked, I'm happy for ya.

Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Culvers is good, but availability is suspect. Plus I try to stay away from the chains. Those little joints are what do it for me. Its like when I was lookin for the best chain fish sangweech. All were marginal, but I still order fish at mcdonalds. Still hits the spot. Chicken shack in winneconne better, as is the local Piggly Wiggly. Bobs hit it right too. Very tastee one in Haley. I am convinced the chicken I brought on Friday fishing with Steir made all the difference. The pros on Wed and Thurs werent much interested. There you have it.

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | My mind had blocked it out for the last few days but the memories came rushing back this morning. I know hindsight is 20/20 but I think all would have went well if we would have left out the half eaten bannana. Things just started to go downhill from there. Thanks for the reply Mark, I completely get the chain deal. I try to give the ma and pa's of the world all the business I can.
