Member Posts: 105 | Dale, I put this thread over onto the IDo site as well. So maybe you can get more data over there as well. I am looking forward to this. Keep me posted on the tournament this fall. Will likely fish it and I will grab some other I know who would fish up there. Need any help let me know as well.

Member Posts: 68 | Thanks Tom, that is the kind of assistance I will appreciate. The more solid teams the better- hopefully I can get the date I want for this. It is difficult to judge with bow and duck hunting seasons beginning then, but hopefully we'll have enough interest to get a solid number of boats. I will hopefully have everything ironed out prior to the Catfish Days tournament in July. Edited by Osprey 4/29/2009 12:46 PM

Member Posts: 68 | I am hoping so. I should have a few more details worked out by next Thursday. I appreciate you patience, but to do this right the first time I think it is best. I thank you for all of your feedback and would appreciate if any of you would be able to assist in dispersing the tournament brochures once they are completed.

I think 4 or so 1 day tournaments on a sunday, then a 2 day final would be fun series, have it on the different pools like you are saying, 3,4 and pepin, 5 on down to south, keep it fairly compact to keep travel time and expenses down.

Member Posts: 68 | It is coming along well. I have decided not to attempt a fall event and start things fresh in the spring of 2010 due to very limited September permits and dates. Once I have things finalized I will post the information on here first for the upcoming year. Tight Lines, Osprey

Member Posts: 68 | Hi Tom, As I noted above I plan to start fresh in 2010 due to limited permit dates for the weekend I wished to have the event. This way we will be able to start the way I really want to and have all my ducks perfectly in a row. Be sure to find me at Catfish Days after the tournament so I can give you a few updates and a cold one. Osprey ![]()

Member Posts: 68 | Hey guys, nice talking with several of you this weekend at Catfish Days and a special congrats to Tom Oldenberg and his father on their first place finish in the walleye division as well to the many other teams that fished very well. I appreciate all the positive feedback I recieved from everyone. I will be posting right here one week in advance for the opening of registration for all of the events. If you sign up for all 4 events with big fit pot you are in. There is a limited 50 boat field, just so you know. Flight out #'s will be determined by full registration paid with complete paperwork and date it is received in my mailbox. The circuit's name is officially MMWS which stands for Mighty Miss Walleye Series. I thought this was a fit and logical name as I hope we all have a mighty good time and hope none of you miss a single event on our home waters......the Mighty Mississippi River! Jess and I also wanted to put out a special thanks to Tom and Curt, their wives, kids, and many dogs for their hospitality inviting us for a grill out following the Catfish Days event- maybe this will become tradition for future MMWS family events. Keep watching here for upcoming updates as Zach has gratiously given us the oportunity to use this site and medium to grow our events. I anticipate to be shooting video at each of our events that will give you all some much needed national media exposure. Please let me know if you are willing to do boat or dockside prefishing interviews or morning of interviews which we can post prior to, during, and following the events. Please e-mail me your e-mail addresses as that will be the way the applications will be solicited- so be sure to be on the list! I am going to attempt to keep mailings 99% electronic to keep down costs. Submissions and payments will need to be done in form of cash or check with completed entry forms. A physical mailing address will be included with the application materials. You can now contact me at my new e-mail: [email protected] Thanks Much and Tight Lines, Dale R. Member Posts: 121 | Things are coming along nicely- please stop by many of your local bait shops and boat dealers for 2010 brochures. You can see the assisting businesses in the next posts. Thanks- Dale Radcliffe- MMWS Executive Director [email protected]
