The 2010 MWC West Division got underway this morning in Mobridge, SD under clear skies, brisk temps and light winds. The 44 boat field left from Indian Creek Boat Launch with a bit of uncertainty where to fish and what to do to catch the fish.

The weather during practice has been a major problem this week. Teams saw wind gusts in excess of 50+mph and everything from driving rain to snow. Many teams have seen more cabin time than fishing time coming into Day One.

Weigh-in will start at 3:30pm and will take place behind Scherr-Howe Arena in Mobridge.

The team of Scott Busteed and Dave Harmon brought 14.80 pounds to the scales, taking the Day One lead at MWC Mobridge. Team Busteed & Harmon boated nine fish today on what's been regarded as a very tough bite.

Team Briam Woodward and Rick Walter hold down second place with their 13.49 pounds. The team of Dan Atrim and Kim Mark boated 13.04 pounds to hold down third place.

The top five is rounded out by Corey Fiedler and Chad Schilling in fourth place with a 12.13 pounds and Toby Mauck and Shawn Schmidt in fifth place with 10.44 pounds.
