Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Some of you may remember that I did a Saginaw Bay fishing show almost 3 summers ago now on my Big Boat with Bill Sherck, one of the producers for Ron Schara Enterprizes, of the Ron & Raven show fame. I know many of you visiting this board are from the West side of Lake Michigan. So I thought some of you may want to watch this show. We trolled mainly with Rattle Tots tipped with crawlers and added some Straight Spoons, and My Spoon Harness Sliders above them. A technique not seen in action to much anywhere when trolling for walleyes. No real monsters caught that day, but the fishing was off the hook and the spoons were the ticket. It was literally one rod to the next for a solid hour until Bills batteries ran to low to shoot any more. I then let Bill and his camera man run the rods and catch a few more. This show was suposed to air sometime that fall our early the next spring. But even shows like that are subject to the up's and down's of the economy, so it was continually pushed back. Got this in an E-mail this morning.

Great news. I have your story logged and written and it’ll be going to the edit bay in just a couple of days.
Right now, we’ve got the story slated for two of our shows.
May 7th on MN Bound (seen through Minnesota on NBC) and
May 27th on Due North Outdoors (seen on Fox Sports in MN, IA, SD, ND, WI)
The story will also be posted online right after it airs on our web sites. We will also send you a clean DVD of the show in the mail. I sure hope the fishing’s still good over there on the bay.
It sure was the day we visited!
