Leaving Tuesday morning for Spring Valley. My favorite time of year. A bit above flood stage right now and dropping. If the rain is light this weekend it should be a decent bite for the MWC. Good luck to all those going. I will post some pics on this thread if we are lucky enough to get a few pre-fishing.

WalleyeFIRST will be on the ground providing interviews, images, and daily wrap ups from the MWC Spring Valley event. We look forward to the first event of the year!

Rich, we'll post pictures of your success after prefishing if you post them before!

Pre-fishing today, river looking good. Caught many big saugers. Should be good for MWC.

Ahhh, yes fishing da ditch. Its such a love /hate with that river. I swear to God, I am here typing, wishin I were fishin......da ditch. (PS Walleye season closed in New York....I did crack open the B&B and sniffed/felt the F5 and F7 in the box...Old rapala Clown....so.....so.......sweet).

Good luck out there guys. Be sure to visit the Spring Valley Boat Club. I hear Riverview marina changed hands.
A great guy in ottawa, 2 towns over, is Big Jim. He has some great menos, great conversation, and great maps. I miss him already.

Nothing like a 4 lb sauger smacking your jig! Nice fish, guys! Rich, you're receding pretty quick these days. Pretty soon you'll catch me!

Nice fish. Good luck Rich. Are you using a wide angle lens. Or is it true the camera adds 10 kilos.. I mean pounds?

Thanks bud.

BTW, it is the same camera I took all those pictures of your mom with :D

Shep, it is not receeding. I just shave it that way to look more like you.

Komo, trust me when I tell you that you WISH you were here. This is one of those years that make you fall in love with this place.

No barge traffic, what's up with that??

Rob, win or lose I will consider us winners as long as we stay true to ourselves :D

Thanks Dave. We got nice fish going where we caught our big fish when we fished down here.
