Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Wulp, Brother and I spent 2 hours 10 minutes on the Bay late this morning. Knowing a BIG storm was coming in by 2:00pm we knew it would not be a long day. Launched at 9:50am and pulled lines at 12:00pm. Went 9 for 10. 7 walleyes, 1 smallmouth and 1 white bass. And if you think where we trolled the other day was shallow, you should have been with us today. The deep spots we caught walleyes in today were in 4 FOW. We made our first pass in 5 to 7 FOW with no hits. I noticed a flock of both minnow and sea gulls diving and working as small sand bar area near shore, so I told the brother to see how close we could get without running aground. Hell, it was his boat we were in anyway. So as we approached the pod of birds, in about 3.5 FOW we hit a double. Game on, spent the next hour and a half dodging 2 foot humps around this sand bar, and we fished till 12:00 noon and called it a day.
