Overcast, brisk winds in excess of 20+mph and light rain is what mother nature called for on Day Two. Most of the teams yesterday were basically going prefishng due to such harsh conditions leading up to Day One. Most of the teams WalleyeFIRST talked with this morning felt confident they could get their fish. Today's weather in Mobridge is calling for a high of 51 degrees and sustained winds out of the SSE at 21mph and gusting to 28mph. Rain showers are to diminish by 10am. Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Local guide Chad Schilling and partner Corey Fiedler brought a five fish limit that weighed 14.43 pounds to the scales on Day Two; giving them 26.56 pounds to claim the first 2010 MWC Western Divisional Title at Mobridge, SD. Team Schilling and Fiedler were pulling crankbaits near the North Dakota border over submerged tree tops. Schilling and Fiedler were going through so many fish they almost threw back a 21+ incher thinking they could catch a bigger one. Quick thinking on behalf of Fiedler, he reminded partner Chad they hadn't caught a fish at all during practice and throwing a fish back of that size was not a wise decision. Finishing in a very close second was Brian Woodward and Rick Walter. They brought a five fish limit to the scales weighing 11.89 pounds; giving them a two day weight of 25.38 pounds. The rest of the top ten look like this: 1. Chad Schilling & Corey Fiedler-26.56lbs. 2. Brian Woodward & Rick Walter-25.38lbs. 3. Jeff Gottbreht & Mike Clark-22.12lbs. 4. Travor Diegel & Paul Steffen-21.26lbs. 5. Toby Mauck & Shawn Schmidt-20.77lbs. 6. Brent Beitelspacher & Cory Jueneman-19.53lbs. 7. Scott Busteed & David Harmon-16.99lbs. 8. Dan Atrim & Kim Mark-15.63lbs. 9. Jeff DenHerder & Steve Alverson-15.36lbs. 10. Shannon Grismer & Mark Jones-15.04 Attachments ---------------- DSC_0158 [].JPG (143KB - 190 downloads) DSC_0186 [].JPG (146KB - 180 downloads) DSC_0112 [].JPG (145KB - 164 downloads) DSC_0090 [].JPG (135KB - 188 downloads) DSC_0051 [].JPG (132KB - 181 downloads) | ||
