After spending the whole day on the water on Thursday on Poygan and Butt des Morts, just wanted to pass along a warning about all the logs and trees that are floating in the system right now. I almost hit one myself... missing it by a foot or so. I ran back to see that it was a very large tree with all the branches floating just below the surface.

And for the fishing report... nothing except 8-12 inch Walleyes all day long, trolling, long linning and pitching jigs into the canes.

You? Pitching into the canes? Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks

Thanks for the heads up on the debris.
