Don, I wasn't saying you would only fish if there was X amount, I was asking if you heard they would cancel if only X amount of entries, buddy. I would think being the first annual and the city must be taking care of Jims expences, that this will go even if we both goose egg and finish in the top 20. At least I hope that's the case, that it goes regaurdless, competition is competition, I have already fished 20 boat events that had good sticks, Full Throttle 2years ago against the likes of Lynn Nicklash, Greg Wirezba, John Clumpner ect...

The Oconto Walleye Classic will happen regardless of the numbers. Oconto wants to make this an annual event and are looking to build this into a weekend festival. They know this will not come overnight. They are dropping the late fee to help teams that are undecided to fish. I can not give you the numbers as I have not been to the PO for a couple days as I took a couple days of R & R after the last MWS tournament. It will be a quality tournament so if your undecided, sign up and join in the fun. After last weeks record breaking weights in Menominee MWS it will be very interesting. The community of Oconto always put out the welcome mat to the anglers.

Thanks

Jim Coon

maybe 10 boats that would have done the classic if not for the MWC OR SWC. whats the swc gonna draw for entries out of Menomonee with no MI waters allowed ? 0 that arn't in the race for the swc NTC bids... that will be a 20 boat tourny right there !

I will be signing up at the meeting, trips over the wknd and again this week had my schedule up in the air, Oconto has a good thing going when it comes to hosting tournaments, they have been more then willing to put the right foot forward on enhancing the Marina and keeping lauch fee's at a minimum with runmors of the FLW Tour and possibly AIM coming next year. Just need to create a diversion while we power load!!!! See you Sat aft!
