I have a 1995 Ranger 361 V. I have a chance to get a 1998 1800 Pro-V Se, at a reasonable price. It appears in good condition but I would have it checked out. My local bass boat dealer thinks the ride is similar in the Lund and the Ranger at that size boat. Tee Ranger has a 150 as does the Lund. I would think the Lund would be a pretty dry ride?

Also, he said for a period of time Lund did not use the treated wood in the floors and transonm, and that rot was an issue. Does anyone know if this is true in 1998.

He also said the IPS hull was not out yet in 1999?

I would appreciate any input on how the 1800 Pro V would serve as an all around boat.

Thanks
