I was out this past weekend and my trolling motor, when I kick it up past 40% sounds like it lagging. I did notice this is happening after it is running on constant for awhile. If I shut it off for a bit, its fine. I know my batteries are good. Suggestions?

MY FIRST GUESS IS THERE MIGHT BE A LEAKING SEAL IN LOWER UNIT, CAUSING WATER TO ENTER UNIT, OR IT COULD BE CIRCUIT BOARD, THERES A COUPLE TEST TO TRY, YOU CAN CALL ME AT THE OFFICE AT 920-865-0055 AND I CAN TELL HOW TO TEST IT THANKS JIM WE ARE A MINNKOTA ASC CENTER.
