Hit the river yesterday for some early King action. Not many fish in the system as of yet. But here's the before picture of the one I caught on the river and this mornings after picture in my dining room. Please, no calls for the next hour.

Nice fish Dan. I'll be in Two Rivers for the next few days. I hope to get out on the pier myself.

The kings this year are running very large at all the Lake Michigan ports. Many 24 to 26 pounders and I heard a 39 pounder was caught out of Frankfurt. Casting and catching them in the small confines of a river has always been a passion of mine. And yes, eating them smoked or caned is a passion as well.
