Greetings. Thinking about taking a family vacation to Kabetogama in Augaust. How's the walleye fishing that time of year? Any resort recommendations would also be appreciated.

Dont do a houseboat with Voyagaire unless you like mice sleeping with you.

Nope. Did a houseboat on Rainy Lake. To expensive for what you get but it was on my bucket list.

Lots of great resorts on Kab, we always stay at Pine Aire, nice resort with a protected harbor. If you have kids Idlewild has a heated pool, but I can't stress enough how everyone up there is very welcoming and affordable. Walleyes should be good but the smallmouth are plentiful and the scenery is wonderful.
