The Bellevue Dam is open and the fish are biting- it's a little slow but nice to get out.

I understand we can fish on the Iowa side but not Illinois.Is that correct?And If so where is the line drawn?

John it is the center of the lock chamber not the dam. The lock chamber is the part of the dam that we lock through. If you go out beyond that the DNR will ticket you without hesitation. Just thought I could help!! Mike

Thanks Mike. Was not sure about up by the dam, just know the river channel. Wow that makes it pretty tight there!!!
