Looking for reviews on this rod, but can't find much. None of the area retailers seem to have it in stock.

Anybody use one or own this rod? Looking to whip cranks and do some jigging with 1/4-3/8 oz jigs. Fishing in fairly heavy current at times, at times jigging in 20-30fow. I fish the Fox and the Green Bay system, so better than average sized fish.

Wondering if this rod is too whippy and/or soft for this application. I like soft-ish rods. I have a Fenwick HMG 7' ML that I love. Kinda looking for that rod, only longer.

Is this rod going to have the backbone to whip out a rogue or a husky jerk and bring in a 6# walleye against current?

Thanks,
Eric
