Location: Manitowoc, WI | I'm about to start drilling holes in the cavitation plate of my F225 Yamaha. Is there anything I need to know before I mount this bad boy? The pucker factor is high and I've measured this thing about 20 times so far!! |

| Jerry,
I suggest putting the head of the bolts UNDER the cavitation plate to avoid any turbulence for the prop to try and grab water.....
Also, run the wire up the back of the cowling, splice in quick-connects inside the cowling, and then run the wire to the battery terminals....in case you need to service it anytime, this is much easier than removing the entire wire!!
hope it helps.. |

| My pucker factor was high too when I did mine, but in the end you have to do it. Plus you will love having this thing. |
