Location: Rhinelander | The top ten headed out into a fog bank as a storm passed to the South. Looks like rough weather could visit the area a couple times over the course of the final day; the forecast calls for a 40% chance. Temps are to be much cooler, only reaching around 80 degrees. Spirits are high, spots way less crowded, and crawler harnesses the rule today as the top ten take to the waters of bay of Green bay out of Oconto. It's anyone's game. Several of the top ten reported having (and take note here, gents, for the debate elsewhere) taking 40# bags in practice, and hopes, of course, are that one may be had today. Anyone putting 40 plus in the bag could catch the top anglers if they stumble and only livewell 20 plus. The weigh in begins at 4 PM, so watch for updates around 5:30. Video will be late tonight or tomorrow morning, as OFM is on the road this evening! Location: Rhinelander | Stephen Paulsen ran away with it. Danny Plautz and David Andersen added some serious drama, but there was little doubt when the 5th fish came out of the National Guard weigh in bag and hit the scale. All of the top ten caught fish, but Plautz, Andersen, and Paulsen lit 'em up again. Mr. Paulsen said he hadn't seen a boat in his area all week, and he was alone again on the mid lake humps he had been fishing. His fish responded, and he literally walked away with the $55,000.00 check...fishing his first Pro FLW event ever. The crowd was good, the atmosphere exciting, and the stage show exceptional. The FLW did a superb job setting up the final 3 to weigh in, and all the way through the NPAA Kids clinic, National Guard Soldier Appreciation Tournament the opening ceremony, and through the final moments, hardly missed a beat. It was great seeing Lindner Media shooting the event as well. FLW Final Leaderboard: http://www.flwoutdoors.com/walleyefishing/walleyetour/tournament/20... Thanks to Lund Boats, Mercury Outboards, and The Reel Shot/JJ Keller Fishing Team for making OFM coverage possible!
