Hey Guys, I am putting together a bunch of pro walleye fisherman to take kids fishing on Shawano lake july 24th which is a sunday. I have 8 signed up so far and just started sign up and have over 50 kids. This is threw the Shawano area chapter of walleyes for tomorrow and a great cause, after a day on the water you will be invited to enjoy a fine meal at the world famous corner bar. Steve I don't have your e-mail so if you would like to get involved with some coverage shoot me a e-mail. Any questions you can contact me at [email protected]. I truly believe we will wind up with more than 100 kids and possibly 200 so your help would greatly be appreciated... John Schneider

That is a great thing to do! With Christensen, Kruger and now you organizing these fishing trips it will be a good impact on kids!

Can't speak for anyone else, but I had a great time taking the kids out. There were over 150 kids, and I think 18 boats. The kids got instructions on their new rods & reels before they went in the boats. The kids I had needed very little additional help in making casts and reeling the fish in. I'd do it again in a minute.

We had 162 kids show up for the event put on by walleyes for tomorrow and it was great. Chad and Shawn had all there ducks in a order and each boat took out 2-3 kids a shift. All the kids got a rod and reel combo, t-shirts, and a small tackle box as a gift for coming to the event. It was really cool and my hat goes off to all the people who donated their time and gas to do this. Bill Suttons crew came from Ill. to do this and we had many who had a 3+ hour drive round trip to help. Thanks everyone who helped and I am looking forward to next year it will be huge, John Schneider
