The water is so warm out here, we need to get increasingly deeper and deeper. So much for my Lake Winnebago hot n to 85 back program.

water warmed up pretty good this year and fast. seen some good high temps this year. Irene put my sunday off fishing on hold. Rained for 16 hours. power out for 13 hours. long boring day. Got a little tackle done. skipped the beer too. that was a big mistake.
Mr komo, may have some time off coming up, will throw some info at you later on, you drive 2, I drive 2, we fish... Gotta see what USPS has to say...

Yep, they are working you hard. Screw retirement fish NOW! Gonna try barcelona this upcoming weekend. Still pulling fish out of the SBH in Buffalo. They are scattered because of the warm temps, but still around. Meat seems better than hooks. But it comes down to mojo right?

Irene has scrapped all fishing this side of the state for labor day. State of emergency, thruway closed. gotta go west some and north. That oswego river always interested me... Got a few long walks to figure it out.

Mark, here is a link to a pic of a lock near my house. After Irene. Doesn't usually look like that. That lock is lock 12 on the mohawk river/erie canal. very popular walleye spot.

If you can figure out how to post the pic please do.

Ever pull Hot Steel jointed floating Raps on leadcore there? I've litterally painted over 1000 jointed Floater and spoon reros in Hot Steel the last 2 years specifically for the New York leadcore bite.

First pics are oof the floater verion with the base colors and no clear yet. Second is the Raplala version on thier bass lures.

The ONLY custom painter with the EXACT same pigemnt used on the back of the original Hot Steel!!!!

Have you on my favorites when I get set up for lead core. Gonna be a winter project.
Mark, that lock has people from all over the northeast fishing from shore for walleyes. late sept Oct. I'll get a pic sometime of what that looks like normally.
Fish go somewhere, same thing happened in 2006, worse, fishing that fall was fantastic.
