Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | The final regular season Midwest Walleye Series event got underway this morning out of Menominee Marine in Menominee, MI where 77 boats left for what looked to be a very bumpy day on Lake Michigan. The bite has been good, no complaints from any of the anglers, however those WalleyeFIRST talked with this morning said in order to catch the right ones, a decent run one way was going to have to be in the game plan. This event marks the end of the 2011 Midwest Walleye Series regular season and where the final field of anglers will be formulated for the seasons end championship that'll take place right here at Menominee Marina September 17. WalleyeFIRST Tournament coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats, Mercury Marine, Lowrance and JJ Keller Fishing Team/The Reel Shot! wow!! great job guys, how far north do you have to go to catch fish like that? I'm guessing those quality fish had to come from chambers island. we have been catching a lot of fish by bayshore right now but nothing like those!! Great job again! | |||
