The wind is a factor today.

Right now, it's blowing mid teens to twenties, with gusts forecast to hit much higher. Many of the Pros were going to take a short ride before deciding whether to make the run south, others were going no matter the wind.

The patterns haven't changed much, but the fish do seem to be on the move. Most pros spoke of having as many as a dozen areas to hit, and they expect to fish them all today.

The cut is set for the top 18 today. The AIM Leaderboard indicates weights to make the cut IF the bite holds through today and the Pros can get to their fish, will require at least a mid twenties weight added to yesterday's total. If the bite slows, the leaderboard could shift considerably.

The JJ Keller Angler Of the Year Race tightened up yesterday to a few point separation between Brett king and Robert Blosser. It's now officially a horse race, with Ross Grothe also in the hunt.

The live weigh in will begin at approximately 5 PM tonight!

Schilling should be right in his element today. He makes a living on that body of water and when Oahe rears its ugly side, its a brutal place to fish. Which, Chad seems to thrive in those conditions. Betting that he moves up. If you havent been to Oahe, you have no idea how brutal it can be out there in these conditions. I would like to know how many windshields went down yesterday. The waves dont get huge (like a great lake), but figleaf they are close together and rough. . I'm glad I am on the computer watching:)

Chad Schilling takes the lead, and the JJ keller Angler of the year race is UNREAL....very very close between Robert Blosser, Brett King, Ross Grothe, and Mike Gofron. It's anybody's out of that four tomorrow...depending on the bite and how the top four in the AOY race do. it's going to be close.
