I do not belive the fish discern the subtle differences in similar color and flash patterns. Subtle being the key and I realize that is a bit subjective as well:) Nontheless, I will continue to by the new stuff as it appeals to me and the old, perfectly good gear will be relegated to the back of the box with no real reason except that it is older. Take care, Jim As it should be Jim. Anybody who says he's never bought something for fishing because it looked PRITTY to his own eye is a liar. And most things new are simply something old with a new spit shine. Along with the cosmetic appearence I always consider the whole working, lasting quality and dynamics of anything I use for fishing and love to experiment and catch fish on those outside the box ideas I come up with as you know. Colors of course can be the last things fish pay attention too and are attracted by. Yet, I can name several colors on my home waters that always work, are always used and almost never left in the back of the box. Need or dare I mention Fire Perch again. I like sharing new/old product ideas with others that work for and meet most of those criterion to me, no matter who's product that is.  Edited by walleye express 11/8/2011 11:56 AM | ||

We had a booth accross from him one time and had a blast chatting with him. I'd describe Tommy as a survivor with a unique combination of Old School Temperment, Technique, Loyality and Tradition, competing very successfully in a business plagued with Modern Cut Throat Gamesmenship.
