Mighty Miss Walleye Series team Bill Sibley and Mike McCormick (Holmen, WI) dominated the field by over four pounds with an impressive four-fish limit of 26.90#'s including a monster 11.94# kicker, netting them $1190.00. Bill and Mike longline trolled Salmo and Rapala style shad baits with their rods spooled with Berkley Fireline.
Despite the rising river nearing the 9' pool height, the duo trolled current seams near the I-90 interstate bridge in the top of Pool 8 to find their winning weight of river 'eyes. Bill laughingly stated, "I saw a shooting star on my drive to the landing this morning... I made a wish, and didn't realize it would actually come true!" Mike also overcame adversity fishing with a new cast and sporting a pair of crutches from a recent accident.
Team Galen Bremmer / Eugene Faga placed second with 22.27#'s of jigged up river gold for $300. Team Dave Washa / Shane Collins placed third with a solid bag of 21.53#'s netting them $175.00.
