Has anyone watched "major league fishing"? I know it is a bass tournament series but I love the format and see great possibilities for the walleye world. Any thoughts?

I watched all of them. Great format and lots of fun to watch. I am curious to see where it goes. I loved watching KVD destroy the A-rig for a while. Rediculous how good that man is.

The Bassmaster Elite series is in LaCrosse this week. While I'm not a fan of bass fishing it's been pretty cool seeing all the wrapped boats in town. If KVD is in contention going into the last day, I'll have to go watch the weigh in. Met Ish Monroe and Dean Rojas at Gander yesterday. Seemed like nice guys for folks that fish for Bass.

I was pretty skeptical about the MLF shows at first, just seemed like another show. Then I saw the deal where roommates Mike McClelland and Jeff Kriet started to go at it. McClelland was whacking them on a jerkbait while Kriet was listening to his spotter tell him every fish that Mike was catching. Kriet, knowing his roommate and how he likes to fish(McClelland known for his jerkbait prowess) picked up a jerkbait and started hitting windy points. Just like that Kriet started catching them as well, that was cool sh*t. After that, I was completely hooked. Watching KVD whack 40lbs. in just a couple hours was pretty crazy, same when Brent Ehrler did it in the final round to win.

From what the anglers have told me, they all loved the format. I know I'm looking forward to seeing more, that's for sure!

LOL. Kind of like saying, "She might be good looking if she had teeth."

I've seen almost all of them as well, pretty cool concept to go mano e mano against your competitor and the best keep advancing. Would be cool to do in the walleye world, put the top 10 to 15 in each pro circuit against each other and see how they stack up, although now so many cross paths and fish both circuits so not the same as it used to be.

I hate to say it, but the bass guys are so far ahead of the eye guys in so many areas, but that's a discussion for another time.....
