| Congratulations to Gordy Schwarz (BUBA) and Brett Wilkens on second place at Oshkosh. 18.84 lbs on day one and 19.83 lbs on day two. Unbelievable sticks no matter what the conditions are. They did it on day two with an observer also. Wish I could have been the 3rd guy in that boat. Did anyone see the "Goupies" takeing pictures after the awards were given out? Pretty Cool guys! |

| Wow! after taking a long look at this years field of teams and weights i would say a top twenty five finish would be MORE then respectable. .. What a list of incredibly impressive teams. This was not an event for just any dreamer to throw there money in the hat to toy with. Congrats to all the top finishers!!!!!!!!!!!! What an impressive performance. As Far as Gordy and Bret, You will be hard pressed to find a more strait up couple of guys who play the game and will contend for the win on any given day and in any given season or weather conditions. These guys are part of a small group of teams that just blow my mind time and time again.. i have been blessed to spend hundreds of hours fishing with Gordy and can tell you this much.. to know what and how they do the things they do is a far cry from duplicating there Tournament performance and record. when Bret and Gordy team up they seem to feed off each other. Both are gifted themselves . Put them in the same boat... they are killers .. Top of the food chain... Walleyes beware.. for those waiting for them to retire ... be careful what you wish for .. the next generation of Schwartz and Wilkens in Mike and Alex have been ripping lips on Baggo since they were 4 years old... so... along with the other great teams and there gifted tactics being passed on to there next generation .. it as become evident to me that... THIS Tournament GAME on this body of water is no place for the casual walleye fisherman.
