Location: La Crescent, MN
Falling Rock Bar and WalleyeFIRST are teaming up for the last team open water walleye contest of 2003, on Saturday, December 13th, 2003.

When: Saturday, December 13th, 2003
Where: Pools 9 & 10 of the Mississippi River (Genoa and PdC Pools)
Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm
Weigh-in: 4:30pm Sharp @ Falling Rock Bar & Bait
Blast Off: Honor system, launch anywhere on Pools 9 or 10


Entry fee $20. 100% Payback top 3 places. Payable at the Falling Rock Bar & Bait, Eastman, WI (608-874-4707). Ten miles north of Prairie du Chein and 1 mile south of Lock Dam #9 on WI HWY 35. May also pay via major credit card via OutdoorsFIRST by calling Zach at the office Monday - Fri 7am - 5pm 507-895-7510.

Walleye or Sauger over 15"
Limit is Three Fish Per Boat
Hours are 7:00 to 4:30, honor system start at 7:00 launch anywhere on Pools 9 or 10 of the Mississippi River
Must WEIGH In at Falling Rock Bar & Bait by 4:30pm on Saturday the 13th

We will post the entrants on this message as entries are received.

If anyone is considering fishing this derby,and needs a partner,please let me know,I would love to freeze my keester off one last time.Willing to pay for 1/2 even a little more,boat is now in the shop for fine tuning for next season,plus I still have 2+lbs,of large and extra large fatheads still kicking and ready to be a winning teams special bait.....

long johns and polar fleece,i also take my big heater that i use in my ice shack.feels good on cold hands and you can thaw out your leadcore with it.

Fire up the heater, and wear a snowmobile suit! Don't forget the gloves, hats, face masks, and warm boots, and the CAMERA!! Take lots of pictures, guys, this should be a classic.

it doesnt look good for saturday.3 degrees in the morning than a high of 20.zack are you gonna still go...i think the river will be froze over.if it isnt were we gonna launch?

I'm with you on that one. It's brutal here today. I doubt well be able to launch, the main channel in LaX was frozen solid today, I may be even be able to get out and fish walleyes through the ice as early as this weekend. I'll talk to Len.
