Location: Rhinelander | It's clear and cold, not alot of wind, and apparently what quite a few of the Pros were hoping for on the river today. The ride up to 14 for some is going to be 'brisk', but afternoon temps will be bearable. Danny Plautz is staying close, and says he'd rather have 7 hours on his fish than gamble on 2 to 4 hours in another pool. Gary Parsons is rolling the dice again today and making the run. Ted Takasaki is going back to his small spot and using his Minn Kota Spot Lock to try to increase his weight. It's almost certain he's in the cut to twenty after today, but he's shooting for the final ten and feels he needs a couple fish today to lock that in. One 'over' changes it all. WalleyeFIRST Coverage of the FLW is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Outboards! Location: Rhinelander | Chevy Pro Jason Przekurat got an 'over' today, and matched that fish with a solid bag of 'unders' to take the lead by almost 6 pounds over Danny Plautz. The tough bite continued for most, as some of the better weights brought in yesterday were matched with zeros today. Danny Plautz was consistent, and held on to second. Dan Plautz came back with a great bag, enough to make it into the top 20 cut and fish tomorrow headed out in 6th place. Chris Gilman did well today also, locking his position into the top 20 cut heading out tomorrow in 4th. Tough bite. Whomever takes an 'over' tomorrow, especially if it can be matched by a couple just under 20", will rule going into the final day and cut to the top ten; Jason would be untouchable if he can match today's weight. To give you a feel for how tough it is out there, Ted Takasaki didn't get a bite today and is in 8th going into the third day. The pools up by 14 are getting muddy from the torrential rains, we'll have to wait and see what that means tomorrow at the weigh in.
