Location: Rhinelander | It's a strange atmosphere as the FLW closes it's chapter in competitive walleye angling history on the Mississippi today. Jason Przekurat is switching gear and heading out handlining to try to put 5 saugers in the boat and hold his lead. Danny Plautz is going to go anchor up and pitch cranks with no change in plans at all. Any one of the top 4 can put a single over in the boat, and if the others stumble on the incredibly tough bite.... The weigh in will begin at about 4 PM, so watch for a report and wrap up directly after, and the entire report and stage video early tomorrow. Location: Rhinelander | Ranger/Mercury Pro Danny Plautz took home the win and a check for $85,000.00 anchoring and pitching cranks at exactly the same spot for four days, and did so convincingly on a tough bite and up against the toughest competition. Ed Stachowski was very consistent and put enough in the net to take over second, bumping Jason Pzrekurat into third. It was a very tough bite again with several zeros.
