Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Called my buddy Nick around 9:am this morning. The heavier Fog looked like it was burning off early and we set a meet time for 10:00am at my house. We were setting lines by 11:00am on the Bay. All Rattl'n Rouges on my side and Nick ran a variety of Husky Jerks on his. The Rouges would win out for the day overall, but the Huskys did make a charge towards the end.
With pleanty of walleye and white fish in both our freezers for a while, Nick and I made a Pact to throw back anything 24 iches or above. We found a spot that was very tight where there seemed to be a lot of fish belly to the bottom, along with a few suspended just under clouds of baitfish of some kind that we found, and then the fun started. Some real dandys were caught in the 3 hours we fished and 7 walleyes that were between 4 and 7 pounds went back after being photographed, while we kept 2 others that were nice 17 to 19 inch eaters. That's why there is so many pictures below.
