Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Back in 1986 when I first started to fish the Tittabawassee we used simple, round Ball Headed Jigs with a Twister Tail. There wasn't any Gulp, Power Baits, Flukes or the multitude of other fancy plastics that I remember.
And we always did pretty good on those basics with a minnow tipper. Well, Jeff and I did some old school rigging, fishing and catching today on the Tittabawassee. Seems the old school (round head and Twister) rigging still pretty much works on the regular fish and a few exotics as well.
