Are all small lakes here in Manitowoc County. Mine wifey (whom I have a love-hate relationship with), decided I must have breakfast with her this morning, so we made an adventure out of it as I took this woman to check on the fisherman in the above titled lakes.

Here is the report:

Gass Lake - 4 fisherman reporting little success, 'cept for Jim Wagner, who caught a number of gills, and one good perch as we stood talking to him. He was surprised by the catch and told me he fishes the lake alot and only catches about 10 perch the whole winter.

Weyers Lake - 5 fisherman, 4 of which had some success catching gills. The other, Lee Owalt, had caught nearly a limit of crappies.

Hartlaub - No one fishing.
English - No one fishing.

Pigeon - 2 fisherman, one of which was to far to walk to. The other reported to have caught one 17 inch northern. He also reported a number of fish being caught the last 2 weeks with a few 30 inchers mixed in the lot.

Carstens - 2 fisherman, neither would admit to catching any fish. This lake is notorious for those fishing it often, to spread rumors about the lake having total fish kills. But I know better.

Going to fish Becker this evening with Trap, then up to Gogebic for the weekend. Will report on these adventures. Am hoping some of you reading this can return the favor and report on YOUR adventures and entertain me!

Location: Rhinelander
Kinda fun to drive about and check on ice anglers out on the little lakes, isn't it? Not as fun as actually fishing, but good info anyway.
