Looking for a lake where i can take my girlfriend ice fishing
for panfish. Size doesnt matter as far as the panfish but im
looking for fast action lake within two hours of milwaukee.
High action lakes are the best places interducing women and kids
to fishing.
thanks for help

bry- My first suggestion would be monona bay and the triangles. It's hot right now and will be for a while yet, decent blugills and crappies, and about a 100 yd walk. Take 94 west to Madison interchange then head towards Janesville (left exit) then take that to 12/18 west to John Nolan Dr. (head north) for about five miles and on your left hand side you will see Monona bay and the triangles then turn left at the light and find a parking spot in one of the lots. Second would be Delevan lake, fish inside the lake lawn marina. It's a couple hundred yd. walk from the boat launch but there are plenty of crappies and gills to be caught it there. Fish next to the boat slips. Hope this helps !!

bry, the triangles are the bomb.when i use to fish gills thats where i went. dont be afraid to use soft plastics. black and purple use to work great. crappie minnows a foot under the ice on a small float.and put in a tip-up close to the north shore towards the railroad bridge.
