Could not have written this article better myself. Started this spring running Long "A" bombers 15 back and 1/4 ounce tot's 25 in anywhere from 4 to 6 FOW. My last 3 trips (Late June and 2 in July) with clients (since the weed growth) it's been bomber 8 feet back and tot's 12, with a few fish taking the line right out of my hand at the back of the boat before I could attach the board. Guys will come in on me when fishing with their BB and harness rigs, take one sweep through and leave from the weedy frustration. You won't catch many real monsters in the weeds, but Short lining cranks works.

We won an MWS back in '05 running 6' behind the boards. That was on lil rippers and when it was calm you could see the fish hit the bait. No secret rock pile Shep, we were trolling

None of our stuff was going so we tried one last area the day before the tournament. We agreed if we get one over twenty we would pay the late fee and get it. We did not even have all the boards in and got a 22". Tournament day just went our way. Everyone was on Poygan and we were all by ourselves. Some good memories

I remember that day. Prefishing was awesome on our little spot on Poygan. Didn't see a lot of boats on Friday. Never went to Poygan on Saturday. We were early to go Tourney day, got to our spot, got set up, and when I looked up, the whole field was out there! WTF! I'll never forget the Warrior that jumped right in front of us, by like 20 feet, set up, and immediately took a 24" fish. Wish we could have weighed pike that day! Never caught one during prefish, but caught several over 30 that morning.

Yep. memories. hehehe
