Hello-

Question I have is that I have never fished in any tournament before but I would like to this year and remember some listed on this site that farely cheap to enter. Are there any on the L. Winnebago system like that coming up this spring or summer. Maybe even a pro-am?

Thanks,
Kris

Kris:
I would suggest fishing an RCL league tournament as a co angler. The entry fee is minimal and some real good fisherman involved in it. July 10 is the weekend and I believe this is a super tournament. 2 day tourney. I think you are in for $100. You'll learn a lot. Try www.flwoutdoors.com for information.

Perchie,

There are several tournaments held on the east side. Try calling Trip's Tapsidermy in Pipe (920-795-4163) or Pete's Fishermans Inn in Brothertown (920-849-2460). These are just two of them and they could probably tell you more about some of the others. I know there's always one out Stockbridge and the Brickyard Fishing Club has another out of Calumet County Park.

Dave.

The ice on the wolf near Fort Fremont is deteriorating fast. The river is 1/2 way open across in fremont and working its way down fast. After the thursday night storms we will see then.

Ooops forgot to add the date is April 25th on bago chain. They also have one listed the weekend before the Mercury National(Walleye Weekend) which draws a big crowd. Dates for that June 5th & June 6th.
