I was wondering if anyone out there runs a Digital Yamaha 4 stroke motor. I have my new 620 ordered and I was going with the 250 XA motor. They do offer a 250 XCA motor that is digital but also a little priceyer. Just wondered if its worth the extra $.

My vote would be yes. After running a 300 XCA for three years now I really like the digital throttle, the ability to monitor fuel consumption easily on the digital gauges, and the trolling feature built in the digital gauges. If you plan on keeping the boat for a few years I would think it would pay for itself by being able to find the sweet spot at cruising speeds for best fuel/speed ratio. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

Another vote for yes! I've been running it on my Grady and really enjoy the digital.
