Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay.
How does that saying go? Use Big bait for BIG fish. Ever use a 36 inch pike for bait? Only if you want to catch a 56 inch 55 pounder.

Seen this story about six years ago, think it was caught over in Europe somewhere. That thing is awesome!

Looks like both the pictures and the story continues to catch (excuse the pun) long after their own release. Fishermen are still the biggest suckers for a good fish story it seems. Still a moster Northern though.
