The wind did switch as forecast to, but most of the pros told WalleyeFIRST this morning they think there will be enough of a breeze to hold the bite. Confidence in finding the right fish and getting bit was what could be described as a bit shaky though, as many are fishing the mud and the fish are moving, sometimes very very tight to the mud, and hard to see on the electronics if they are.

Crankbaits seemed to score some of the biggest limits yesterday; the Parsons/Kavajecz team told us they were pulling the all new #11 Flicker Minnows (see Gary's morning interview) at 1.5.

Temps are as advertised, 60s this morning into the 80s this afternoon.

Weigh in starts at 3, and if the NWT rocks through the field as they did yesterday, it'll be over by 5:30 including awards. Watch for a full report directly after the weigh in!

Cameron Lewis put together two excellent bags scoring a total of 65.86 to take home the win on Bay of Green Bay. The change in the weather upset the mud bite, which caused some of the top ten from day one to tumble.

Dave Van Oss was second, falling just short of the win with 63.42. John Gilman was third with 63.31, Derek Navis fourth with 62.51, and Ryan Buddie rounded out the top five with 62.43.

Taking home 6th was Chris Burns, 7th Daniel Woodke, 8th Matt Taylor, 9th Korey Sprengel (moving him up in the AOY race), 10th Ted Takasaki, 11th Gary Parsons, and 12th Greg Wierzba.
