Just one is all we caught today, but the conversation was fast and the weather was gorgeous for icefishing. Twice now have I fished with big guy and have yet to show him how to catch a walleye.

But we will keep trying!

Well there you go. After 2 attempts to instruct a rookie in the fine arts of ice fishing, Larson struck out at the plate. It wouldn't be so bad except that the wife has a frying pan all warmed up when I return from the ice and all I got to eat the last two times was a cold oatmeal and lard sandwich. And a doubting sneer from her as to my prowess as a fisherman. Alas, I am a gluten for punishment and will acceed to another attempt when I return from Palm Springs California with a tan.
