Len - Larry, anyone? What's the status of the landings and open water on 9 for this weekend?

Yes the landing is open and in good shape. It is iced up from the wing dam to the dam or at least it was last weekend. Fished last weekend with good success down river.

I talked to Bill Ortiz earlier this week and he was down there Sunday and did pretty well. I have no idea where he was, but do know that he did his best with jigs and plastics. He tells me the water is pretty clear right now also. He could see the prop on his trolling motor turning while he was fishing.

Has anyone heard anything out of pool 4 yet?

Actually never used the old Blue-42 program. Stuck with the basic run up the up the middle. Yes the water is extremely clear. The kitty cat bite was going strong also.

Fished Pool 4 on Sat. and got beat up bad. Through everything at them from the dam all the way down to the head of the lake and never boated a fish. Can't remember seeing a fish boated by anyone all day. We need a little run off to dirty the water a little.

Sorry Bud. Only know that yesterday it wasn't. I had to get physical and Drug test today for Coast Guard license that will be enforced this year for anybody guiding on the Mississippi. All that is left now is waiting for drug test results..Negative ofcource... drive to Minneapolis and take the oath Monday. Them take the test and two monthes of almost full-time work and paperwork will be finally done!!!!!!

I will be at Madison Show this weekend so I didn't really ask around today.

If anybody uses them... leadcore and W Divers started working last year somewhere between 38-40 degrees.
