Team Tournament Standings, River Spring Valley IL
Mark Lemke and Walter price lead with 13-13 going into day one at the Illinois on what appears to be a tough bite. The weather today may not help that improve with snow falling and temps at or near freezing.

In second are Max Wilson and Isaac Lakich just a couple ounces back. Third are Ryan Vecchia with also just a few ounces back. Fourth are Kevin Dahl and Steve Stack at 13 even. Fifth are David Riess and Dennis Clark with12.15. Less than a pound and a half separates the top then, so it's anyone's to win today.

Jeff Lahr and his partner won the Illinois River MWC yesterday with a total weight of 27-09. Tommy Skarlis was fishing a Crappie Masters tournament (sixth place finish) and we are unsure of who Jeff's MWC partner for this event was, the MWC still has the win as Skarlis/Lahr and we were unable to attend.

The Dalzots were second 26-12, third were Kleszyk and Zurawski with 25-14, fourth were Debernardi and Hanson 4th with 24-13, and fifth were Rahn and Wildeman with 23-14.


The weather yesterday was absolutely Winter like with snow, cold temps and snow, making for a tough overall event weather-wise, but none the less the kick off for the 2018 Walleye tournament season. WalleyeFIRST will report on all MWC events attending as many as possible, and will be on the ground at all the NWT events.
