Willow Cats are used for bait like a minnow, they are like a Bullhead 2-3" and work very well on the Miss. river on the wing dams. The little buggers sting you if not handled right and leave your hand feeling numb and swollen. I have found them to work the best in the fall, but I sure they work good all year. I see them go for $12 a doz. during the RCL at Redwing. They keep pretty well, unlike shinners and Walleye's hate them so they crush them when around!
