Location: Wind lake, Wi | A couple friends went back to Montello to fish. They caught two (17-18") and that was it. Had camera down for about two hours and seen a total of six fish from the dam to the lake. Water resided a bit from last week but was a little dirty. Then they went to the rock ay blackhawk and caught 3 legals and about 20 shorties. Good bite lasted 45 min. for them. I stayed home and played games with my two girls. I was thinking about taking them fishing but the wind would have swept them away-lol. I did have a chance to get down to BPS to check out the sale. Some good deals going on. Mabey this weekend I'll get out. Going friday night with Trap. |

Location: Oshkosh | Was at De Pere Saturday during the day. Caught lots of walleyes under 17", a couple carp, and an absolute sow of a smallmouth (over 7# for sure!). I also hooked something that I initially thought was a snag, but I watched my line proceed to methodically move right to left, then under the boat, then snap. I never moved it at all. Would've liked to seen that fish!
By the way, all our fish were caught shallow. |
