Found this in the dresser drawyer this weekend.
Memorial Day, 1977

Today I wish that I would have let her go because the beat up mount is in my basement collecting dust.

And a young looking fellow you were, too. Beav, that was the day of catch and show, no way would you have let the big walleye go back then!! Now, mostly because we are old and feel sorry for other old creatures, we release them with comments like:
" OK big girl, there you go. Good fight, you big old sow. Now swim away...there you go...(then to whomever else is in the boat)NICE fish."
