Member Posts: 163 Location: Oshkosh | Hi Guys (and Gals) The boat I have doesn't have a bait well on it, and being a crafty and handy guy, I've been throwing around the idea of building one myself. Without going into too much detail, the single most critical component to this project is the container that will be used to hold the water and bait. It needs to be of the appropriate size, and it definitely needs to be made of strong material. Anybody have any ideas on where I could buy something like this? Thanks in advance... Mark

Member Posts: 198 Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | there are really some quality livewell buckets out there of good size. Best thing is doing a search on the web looking for livewells. Another key ingredient is having an adequate aeration system. Hope this helps, Capt. Marty http://www.littlebaydenoc.com

Member Posts: 145 | I love my bait well. I plugged up the drain hole and capped the supply line and use it for extra storrage. I can fit 8 Plano boxes and some extra stuff in there. There are lots of good ones out there. If you're a handy guy, you shouldn't have any trouble rigging one up. Plugging mine up is the extent of my handiness. Beaver

Location: Rhinelander | I know of a couple sources for baitwells, are you looking for fiberglass or aluminum?
