The rod you have in the picture reminds me of the telescoping herring rod I used for fishing herring in the St.Laurence river between Rabor Bay and Drummond Island in michigans upper peninsula years ago. But after opening day you will be hard pressed to catch one. Bud I know you are joansin for good walleyes. I will get you on some, some way this up coming year. But with your work hours it most likly will be in the fall.

Member Posts: 157 Location: YouTube.com/LyubakaVideo Instagram @LyubakaVideo | Hey, guys I "suck" at Crappie fishing, Rich knows my buddy Scott H a great chap, who is by far the most persistent panfisherman I know and I bet he can outfish a huge lot of proffessional Crappie fishermen. He is at them day in and day out all season though. As to AVG I guess 10-11" (12 and 12.5" are not uncommon). Small plastics rule!

Member Posts: 540 Location: Milw, WI | Steve, 2 years a go lots of them at 12-14 nches on 3 inch power bait twisters.(walleye fishing) Some days you can not cast in the river wthout getting them, others u have to work for them. This year looks to be lots of them but a little smaller. Slack water next to good current, or cover seam to hold them. Some spot always got them on them. Best thing is they love little plastics, plastics will out fish live bait most of the time, unless they are picky. It is nice to catch them and then the walleye some times in the same spots on every other cast. Oh!!!!!!......the good days.
